On November 26, 2025, the 8th Member Congress and the 1st Session of the 8th Council of the China Knitting Industry Association (CKIA) were successfully held in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province.

The congress elected the new leadership of the council, reviewed and summarized the work of the 7th Council, and outlined the development plan and vision for the association. Xie Qing was elected President of the 8th Council of CKIA; Yang Shibin was appointed Supervisor of the 1st Board of Supervisors; 24 persons including Zhang Xicheng and Li Hong were elected Vice Presidents; and Xu Guoqiang was appointed Secretary-General.

The congress reviewed and adopted the financial work report of the 7th Council and the membership fee standard. All representatives voted unanimously to adopt the newly revised Articles of Association of the China Knitting Industry Association. The 8th Council, the 1st Board of Supervisors, as well as the Standing Directors and leading officials of the 8th Council were duly elected.

Certificates were issued to the newly elected President, Supervisor, Honorary Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and heads of the Socks Professional Committee and the Digital & Intelligent Branch of CKIA.
